Job summary

Pulaski County Public Schools is seeking Part-Time Title I Tutors for Critzer Elementary Schools to provide supplemental reading and math support. This role reports to the Principal and pays $35.00 per hour under a Part-Time Work Agreement through the remainder of the 26-27 School Year.

Requirements include a High School Diploma (Associate or Bachelor’s preferred) with Collegiate Professional certification preferred; experience using educational technology and strong communication skills are

Qualifications

• Ability to work and plan with multiple classroom teachers on different grade levels.
• Exhibits strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain assessment data to parents.
• Experience and expertise in using technology in education.
• Demonstrates professionalism and contributes to a positive work environment.
• Task and time management skills.
• Maintains acceptable attendance record and is punctual.

Responsibilities

• Follows provided lesson plans and works with at‑risk students to help them master reading, language, and math skills using research-based strategies.
• Maintain an effective system of monitoring and reporting student progress to teachers/admins.
• Works collaboratively with other staff/tutors.
• Maintains confidentiality of students per FERPA.
• Complies with all district policies.
