Job summary

The Salvation Army LB Long Beach Main Store is seeking a part-time Sales Lead to support daily store operations, manage POS transactions, and ensure well-organized merchandise and donations. You will collaborate closely with the Store Manager to maintain high standards and help drive performance.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role with the Store Manager in daily store operations, opening/closing, POS operations, inventory management and donations.
• Assumes responsibility for day-to-day store operations in the absence of the Store/Assistant Manager; coordinates with District Sales Manager.
• Monitor KPIs and drive sales, ensuring profitability and adherence to budgets and goals.
• Supervise staff during shifts, provide coaching and training, and ensure Time and Attendance compliance.
