Job summary

Apis Services, Inc. seeks a part-time therapist to provide individual and group therapy to adults in an acute secure LTSR setting, with flexible hours and Saturday commitment. The role includes intake assessments, treatment planning, maintaining a caseload of 3–4 residents, and coordinating with staff to identify services.

This position supports licensing through supervision and CEU trainings and requires a master's degree and licensure within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a human service field.
• Licensed or license-eligible within 6 months.
• Two years’ experience providing direct therapy in mental health, substance use or IDD.
• Familiar with standard business software and electronic health record systems.
• ACT 33/34 clearances if required by program; FBI clearance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments.
• Provide individual, group and family therapies.
• Monthly updates to paperwork, crisis plans and treatment plans.
• Maintain active caseload of 3–4 residents.
• Maintain tracking system for treatment plans and program documents.
• Participate in clinical group meetings regarding progress and discharge.
• Enter documentation into electronic medical records per guidelines.
