Salary Range:
Responsibilities will include working with the Director to coordinate and facilitate programs of social, recreational, and creative programs for our Skilled Nursing residents. Activities may include music, painting/drawing, exercise, board/card games, puzzles, gardening, word games, field trips, crafts etc. Must be comfortable leading one-on-one as well as larger group activities and transporting residents in wheelchairs to and from daily group activities along with throughout the building as needed. We are looking for someone who is certified, has a degree in or is currently in school for Therapeutic Recreation or would be interested in becoming certified in this profession. We are looking for someone with an upbeat and positive personality ready to assist in enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
Schedule: This is a part time, 24 hours per week position, mostly afternoons and evenings and every other weekend. The schedule is flexible.
