Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED + 8,000 hours of experience working with children
• Associates degree + 4,000 hours of experience working with children
• Bachelor's degree + 1,000 hours experience working with children
• Experience with early childhood population (3–6 years)
• Experience with children who display challenging behaviors
• Experience in a classroom/group care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support by working with individual children and/or in small groups to implement curriculum activities
• Assist in providing children with a structured, safe, therapeutic classroom environment
• Assist with classroom set up & clean up responsibilities
• Assist with curriculum preparation
• Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to carry out therapeutic interventions and support skill development
