Job summary

Stillwater Area Public Schools is seeking a part-time Early Childhood Special Education Paraprofessional to support students at the Early Childhood Family Center. The role runs Monday through Thursday, 12:45-3:45pm, with an ASAP start date.

Experience with young children with special needs is preferred; duties may include toileting support as needed. Applicants should have a Bachelor's or an Associate degree or 60+ college credits or have passed the ParaPro Exam, with transcripts or exam results

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree, or an Associate Degree, or 60+ credits, or passing ParaPro Exam.
• Experience working with young children (birth - age 5) with disabilities is preferred.
• Documentation such as transcripts or ParaPro Exam report must be submitted.

Responsibilities

• Support Early Childhood Special Education at the Early Childhood Family Center.
• Assist students with Developmental Delay, Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other needs.
• May provide toileting support as needed.
