Erica Shamrock Textiles in Brooklyn's Bushwick studio is seeking a part-time Textile Studio Assistant to support daily operations. The role is on-site, two days a week, 9am–5pm, with growth opportunities.

You will sort and file fabric memos, assist with memo restock, build fabric sets for sales reps, and maintain the fabric sample library. A small-team, fast-paced environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience in the textile or interior design industry is a plus.
• Experience operating an industrial serger is required.

Responsibilities

• Sort and file all returned fabric memos into library drawers.
• Assist with weekly memo restock.
• Build and ship fabric sets for sales representatives.
• Assist in general upkeep of fabric sample library.
• Sew memos on in house serger if needed.
• Assist Sourcing team with office organizational projects.
• Reorganizing the loft with back up office supplies.
• Assist with overall studio organization and cleanliness.
