Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College’s Testing Services seeks a part-time Proctor to administer exams and certifications at the Indianapolis campus. The role supports secure testing for prospective and current students as well as external clients, with strong emphasis on accuracy and service quality.

Responsibilities include on-site and virtual proctoring, scheduling, and maintaining exam integrity. The position requires attention to detail, good communication, and adherence to FERPA and testing

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and strong computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in busy testing environment.
• Experience in education or testing setting preferred.
• Proctoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer exams and certifications per vendor requirements.
• Conduct on-site or virtual testing as needed.
• Maintain exam security and confidentiality at all times.
• Schedule and manage appointments using statewide systems.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware and software; escalate as needed.
