University of Central Florida is seeking a part-time Testing Assistant to support the KNACS-SAS Testing Site. The role involves preparing exam rooms, administering tests with accommodations, and maintaining secure records at the Dr. Phillips Nursing Pavilion in Lake Nona.

The position requires punctuality, confidentiality, and the ability to work variable weekday shifts; compensation is $16.50 hourly, with a part-time schedule (up to 29 hours/week).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred: Associate degree or 60 college credits.
• Experience in test administration or proctoring is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic tech troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare testing rooms, technology, materials, and stations before exams; report 30 minutes early.
• Verify student identification, rosters, exam information, and approved accommodations.
• Administer and monitor exams according to procedures and security requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality, secure testing materials, and accurate attendance/testing records.
• Enforce testing rules and report incidents, irregularities, and technical issues.
• Assist with minor technology troubleshooting, room reset, and inventory duties.
• Review schedules, communicate availability, and honor confirmed shifts.
• Other duties as assigned.
