Job summary

University of Central Florida College of Nursing is seeking a Testing Assistant to support the KNACS-SAS testing site at Dr. Phillips Nursing Pavilion, Lake Nona. The role involves preparing rooms, administering exams, verifying identity and accommodations, and maintaining strict confidentiality.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. Prior testing or proctoring experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 0+ years of relevant experience.
• Preferred: Associate degree or 60 semester hours.
• Proficiency with basic technology tools used in academic environments (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare testing rooms, technology, materials, and stations before exams; report 30 minutes before assigned exam start times.
• Verify student identification, rosters, exam information, and approved accommodations.
• Administer and monitor exams according to KNACS, faculty, SAS, and test security procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality, secure testing materials, and accurate attendance/testing records.
• Enforce testing rules and promptly report incidents, irregularities, and technical issues.
• Assist with minor technology troubleshooting, room reset, inventory, and other testing-site operations.
• Review schedules, communicate availability, and honor confirmed shifts.
• Other duties as assigned.
