Job summary

Pearson VUE in San Diego, CA is hiring a regular part-time Test Administrator to deliver secure exams and provide friendly, professional customer service in a quiet testing environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, proctoring experience preferred, and the ability to work 4–12 hours weekly with shifts Mon–Sat, 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Starting pay is $18.75 per hour, plus eligible paid sick time. This position offers scheduling flexibility to cover test sessions as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience proctoring or invigilating exams is highly preferred.
• Must be flexible in work hours and days.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide secure exam delivery and superior customer service in a quiet testing environment.
• Check in testing candidates, verify identification, and explain the exam process.
• Proctor / invigilate candidates during testing sessions.
• Troubleshoot with internal departments to fix technical issues.
• Carry out light housekeeping duties and assist with test center duties as needed.
