Job summary

Pearson VUE is hiring a part-time Test Administrator for our South Kansas City location. Starting pay is $17.75 per hour, with accrual of paid sick time. Flexible shifts Mon–Sat, 7:00 am–8:00 pm, about 10–15 hours weekly, with potential for more hours as needed.

Responsibilities include check-in, ID verification, proctoring, and troubleshooting with internal departments. On-site role requiring ability to pass a quiet testing environment and lift up to 20 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year customer service experience preferred.
• Experience proctoring or invigilating exams preferred.
• Must be flexible in work hours and days.
• Beginner to intermediate experience in Microsoft Office required.
• Must sit for long periods and escort candidates to testing room.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs with reasonable accommodation.
• Must be comfortable in a quiet testing environment with good vision and hearing.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all testing procedures and adhere to company policies with careful judgment.
• Check in testing candidates, verify identification, and explain the exam process.
• Proctor / invigilate candidates while testing.
• Troubleshoot with internal departments to fix technical issues.
• Complete light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming and sanitizing keyboards after each candidate.
• Other duties as assigned.
