Job summary

Pearson VUE in Hays, Kansas is hiring a part-time Test Administrator to join our test-center operations. This role involves checking in candidates, verifying IDs, proctoring exams, and ensuring a secure testing environment.

Starting pay is $17.75 per hour, with eligibility for accrued paid sick time. Flexible scheduling and shifts Monday through Saturday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, about 5-8 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Flexible in work hours and days.
• Minimum 1 year customer service experience preferred.
• Experience proctoring or invigilating exams preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills.

Responsibilities

• Comply with testing procedures and company policies.
• Check in testing candidates, verify identification, and explain the exam process.
• Proctor / invigilate candidates during testing.
• Troubleshoot with internal departments to fix technical issues.
• Complete light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming and sanitizing keyboards after each candidate’s examination.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
