Job summary

Snelling Staffing Lexington is seeking a Retail Associate for a premium gift shop in Versailles, KY. You will provide a welcoming guest experience, share product knowledge, process transactions, and maintain an organized, inviting shop floor.

The role requires at least 2 years in hospitality or customer service, high school diploma, and availability for 2–3 weekends per month, holidays, and evenings. Light lifting and frequent customer interaction are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: minimum 2 years of hospitality or customer service.
• Age: at least 21 years old.
• Schedule: availability to work 2-3 weekends per month, holidays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate & current product knowledge to the gift shop customers.
• Take customer orders and process transactions.
• Operate retail POS system.
• Resolves minor customer issues and passes off elevated situations to leaders.
• Assist customers with premium hospitality and customer service.
• Restock shelves and rotate merchandise accordingly.
• Light routine cleaning daily.
• Operate bottle engraving equipment when assigned.
• Answer the gift shop phone and relay messages promptly and accurately.
• Assist with floor re-sets as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures. Monitor levels of supplies and report to appropriate leaders. Communicate inventory needs and questions to inventory specialist. Assist inventory specialist with processing of new merchandise when needed. Maintain the presentation of the gift shop floor throughout the day. Assist in inventory management and cycle counting as directed. Assist in shipping and receiving as needed. Any other duties assigned.

Must Requirements:

Education: High School

Experience: minimum 2 years of hospitality or customer service experience

Age: At least 21 years of Age

Schedule: Must have the availability to work 2-3 weekends a month, holidays and evenings (when open)

Physical: Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly, occasionally lift 100 lbs (with assistance), move, bend, and reach
