Job summary

The Retail Associate role at Snelling Staffing Lexington supports the Woodford Reserve gift shop in Kentucky. You will greet guests, provide product knowledge, and process transactions with a premium hospitality touch.

You will restock shelves, assist with floor resets, operate the POS system, and help with inventory and shipping as needed. Candidates should have at least 2 years in hospitality or customer service and be able to lift weights as required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School
• Experience: minimum 2 years hospitality or customer service
• Age: At least 21 years of Age
• Schedule: 2-3 weekends per month, holidays and evenings
• Physical: Lift 25 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs occasionally

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate product knowledge and process transactions.
• Operate the retail POS system and handle customer orders.
• Restock shelves and rotate merchandise; light cleaning daily.
• Answer the gift shop phone and relay messages promptly.
• Assist with floor re-sets and inventory management as needed.
• Support shipping/receiving and communicate inventory needs.
• Maintain presentation of the gift shop floor throughout the day.
• Follow opening and closing procedures and assist leaders as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

RETAIL ASSOCIATE - Position Summary:

Create a welcoming and hospitable environment for every guest, providing a premium retail experience that exceeds expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate & current product knowledge to the gift shop customers
• Take customer orders and process transactions
• Operate retail POS system
• Resolves minor customer issues and passes off elevated situations to leaders
• Assist customers with premium hospitality and customer service
• Restock shelves and rotate merchandise accordingly
• Light routine cleaning daily
• Operate bottle engraving equipment when assigned
• Answer the gift shop phone and relay messages promptly and accurately
• Assist with floor re-sets as needed

Must Requirements:

Education: High School

Schedule: Must have the availability to work 2-3 weekends a month, holidays and evenings (when open)

Physical: Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly, occasionally lift 100 lbs (with assistance), move, bend, and reach
