Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corporation is seeking a Part-Time Teller to join our team in Illinois. You will handle customer transactions, balance drawers, and look for cross-sell opportunities while delivering friendly, accurate service.

The role requires cash handling or customer service experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Shifts include Saturdays and may involve travel between branches.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions (check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, etc.) and balance these transactions.
• Operate a teller drawer to serve customers in lobby or drive up.
• Recognize potential cross-sell opportunities and direct customers to appropriate bank personnel.
• Develop skills to recognize potential fraud and report to management as necessary, following policies.
• May be responsible for bank opening/closing and participate in community events.

What you’ll do:

Compensation:

The estimated hourly rate for this role is $19.00-$21.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
