Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corporation is seeking a Full-Time Teller to join our Chicago-area team. You will process cash transactions, balance drawers, and assist customers at the teller window in lobby or drive-up lanes.

The role requires 6 months of cash handling or customer service experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. This on-site position offers competitive pay and a path for growth within a community-focused bank.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions (check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, etc.) and balance these transactions.
• Operate a teller drawer to serve customers in lobby or drive-up.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer customers to appropriate bank personnel.
• Recognize potential fraud and report to management as necessary.
• Comply with all policies and procedures and uphold Wintrust culture.
• May handle bank opening/closing and participate in community events.

What you'll do:

Compensation:

The estimated hourly rate for this role is $19.00-$21.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience. #LI-ONSITE
