Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corporation is hiring a Full-Time Teller in the Winnetka area to handle a variety of customer transactions accurately and balance cash drawers. The role includes driving up or in-lobby service, cross-selling opportunities, and adherence to bank policies.

The position requires at least 6 months in cash handling or customer service, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work multiple shifts including Saturdays, with potential travel between branches.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions (check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, etc.) and accurately balance these transactions.
• Operate a teller drawer to serve customers and bank personnel in lobby or drive up.
• Recognize potential cross-sell opportunities and direct customers to appropriate bank personnel.
• Develop skills to recognize potential fraud and report to management as necessary.
• Comply with all department, bank and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Uphold established Wintrust culture.
• May be responsible for bank opening/closing and may be required to participate in community events.

What you'll do:

Compensation:

The estimated hourly rate for this role is $19.00-$21.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
