Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corporation, a community-focused financial services company, is seeking a Part-Time Teller for our Chicago area branches. You will process a variety of financial transactions, balance drawers, and help customers with cross-sell opportunities while upholding Wintrust policies and service standards.

The role requires at least 6 months of cash handling or customer service experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work all shifts including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in cash handling or customer service.
• High school degree or GED required.
• Travel between branches may be necessary.
• Available to work all shifts including Saturdays.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions (check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, etc.) and accurately balance these transactions.
• Operate a teller drawer to serve customers and bank personnel in lobby or drive up.
• Recognize potential cross-sell opportunities and direct customers to appropriate bank personnel.
• Develop skills to recognize potential fraud and report to management as necessary.
• Comply with all department, bank and regulatory policies and procedures.

What you’ll do:

Compensation: The estimated hourly rate for this role is $19.00-$21.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
