Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months cash-handling experience preferred.
• Effective communication with members and staff required.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and balance money and negotiable instruments.
• Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail and cooperative team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Greet members professionally and perform routine transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers and check cashing.
• Assist members with access to safe deposit boxes and selling money orders or cashier’s checks.
• Balance teller drawer at end of shift and follow security procedures.
• Identify opportunities to suggest additional services and direct members to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain courteous service and respond to member service requests promptly.
