Job summary

Nusenda Credit Union is seeking a part-time teller for our Southside Branch in Santa Fe, NM. The role requires working a flat 30 hours per week with open availability, including Monday through Saturday.

You will be the member’s first point of contact, handling routine financial transactions with an emphasis on service excellence. You will assess member needs, educate on products with a needs-based approach, and refer to specialized departments when necessary.

Qualifications

• One to three years of similar or related experience.
• Previous banking experience preferred.
• Equivalent to a high school education.

Responsibilities

• Processes member financial transactions with accuracy according to policies and regulations.
• Assists members by assessing needs and educating on available products using a needs-based sales approach.
• Assist in a variety of tasks to ensure efficient office operations including opening and closing procedures.
• Operate as a vault teller and handle vault cash duties including cash ordering.
• Assist management with training and development of new and existing tellers.
