Job summary

FFNM is looking for a friendly teller to greet members and handle routine transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing. You will balance your drawer daily, keep precise records, and follow security procedures to ensure accuracy and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of cash-handling experience. Strong math, communication, and teamwork skills are essential for success in a busy branch environment, including Saturday work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months cash-handling experience preferred.
• Strong math and basic accounting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet members in a professional manner and perform routine teller transactions.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers and check cashing.
• Balance teller drawer at end of shift and maintain accurate records.
• Assist members with safe deposit access and with money orders or cashier’s checks where applicable.
• Identify opportunities to offer additional services and direct members to appropriate departments.
