Job summary

Rally Credit Union Rockport Branch is seeking an entry-level, part-time Teller to serve members at the Rockport, TX location with accuracy and courtesy. The role emphasizes cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, and promoting credit union services.

You will confirm transactions, maintain records, and stay informed about products to support members while following security and compliance policies. Excellent communication and a service-oriented attitude are essential.

Qualifications

Six (6) months of cash handling or cross-selling experience is preferred.
Most important to this position are accuracy, speed, customer relations, judgment, reliability, and ability to engage in relationship building, a highly positive, service orientated attitude.
Requires communication, mathematical and general business knowledge or equivalent to satisfactorily perform the job duties.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist members with courtesy, professionalism and timely service.
Receive deposits and loan payments; cash checks; withdrawals; process wire transfers and other requests.
Verify amounts, endorsements, and accuracy of deposits in computer records.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of credit union products and services offered by tellers; promote electronic services, debit/credit cards, money orders, etc.
Balance cash drawer at shift end; research discrepancies and report to supervisor as needed.
Ensure teller station is stocked with forms, supplies, and promotional materials.
Follow security, policy, and regulatory requirements including BSA/AML compliance.
