Job summary

Qualifications

• High school Diploma/GED is required.
• Six (6) months of cash handling or cross-selling experience is preferred.
• Accuracy, speed, customer relations, judgment, reliability and service orientation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members, process accurate teller transactions in a courteous and timely manner.
• Receive deposits and loan payments; cash checks; withdrawals; issue money orders and cashier's checks.
• Verify amounts and ensure accuracy when recording deposits and transactions.
• Balance cash drawer at end of shift; investigate and resolve discrepancies with supervision.
• Maintain knowledge of credit union products; promote electronic services and credit products.
• Process wires, address changes, stop payments, and cash advances as requested by members.
• Adhere to security, internal controls and regulatory requirements (BSA/AML/CIP).
