Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union is hiring a part-time Teller for our Norton Shores branch. The role is fully on-site with hours Mon-Fri 10am-3pm and Sat 9am-1pm, offering weekly pay and a path for growth.

You will handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, while promoting LMCU products and ensuring accurate, secure transactions. A customer-first mindset and 1–3 years cash-handling experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or banking experience is a plus.
• 1–3 years of similar or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive member experience leading to member retention through proactive engagement.
• Identify and address member needs, offering information and guidance about products and services.
• Provide friendly, professional service to all members with high satisfaction.
• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate adverse situations, ensuring positive outcomes for both members and LMCU.
• Adhere to core values of curious minds, collaborative hearts and continuous excellence.
• Accurately perform basic and advanced teller transactions per policies and procedures.
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer daily with accuracy.
