Job summary

OceanFirst Bank is seeking a Part Time Teller (30 hours per week) for the Mays Landing, NJ branch. You will accurately process bank transactions and deliver personalized service to customers, while supporting branch goals and referrals to Personal Bankers.

Y ou will balance cash, handle deposits and withdrawals, and promote banking products. Flexible scheduling and training are provided to ensure excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products to customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and process requested transactions accurately.
• Refer customers to Personal Banker for specialized services.
• Balance cash drawer and secure related receipts and records.
• Process deposits and withdrawals.
• Cash checks in accordance with bank policy.
• Process loan payments and other receivables.
• Handle money orders and bank checks.
