Job summary

OceanFirst Bank seeks a Part-Time Personal Banker (20 hours per week) for our Freehold, NJ branch. A two-week personalized training will be provided to new retail staff on hire.

In this role you will process routine banking transactions, assess customer needs, and promote banking products and services while delivering high-quality personalized service. This position offers growth opportunities and access to on-site facilities.

Qualifications

• Excellent sales and service abilities.
• Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient interpersonal and verbal communication.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn banking software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assess needs, and recommend banking products and services.
• Process routine financial transactions with accuracy and quality service.
• Maintain cash drawer and ensure teller accuracy and controls.
• Meet sales, service, and referral goals for Bank and digital products.
• Assist with branch operations and support customer inquiries.
• Cross-train in staff duties and comply with regulations.
