Job summary

JSC Federal Credit Union is seeking a Part-Time Teller to assist members with daily banking transactions and provide education on available services. The role supports branch operations, balances cash drawers, and ensures accurate processing of deposits and withdrawals.

Ideal candidates have cash handling experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to cover other branches is appreciated and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cash handling experience is required.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in member service, financial services, or similar retail experience preferred.
• Previous experience working directly with the public.
• Flexibility to support other branches based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Handle member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with accuracy.
• Educate members on banking services and products available.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer and balance at shift end.
• Prepare cashiers’ checks and money orders as needed.
• Enter transactions in the bank systems and provide receipts to members.
• Adhere to security policies and Bank Secrecy Act procedures.
