Job summary

First American Bank in Dundee, IL is seeking a customer-focused part-time teller to perform daily transactions and deliver outstanding service. This hourly, non-exempt role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of cash handling experience; teller experience is preferred and MS 365 skills are a plus. The position is onsite, with occasional travel to other branch locations.

Shifts run Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of cash handling experience; teller experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and able to prepare documents and reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer experience, ensuring satisfactory service standards and appropriate resolutions.
• Provide teller services including performing customer transactions, cash deposits/withdrawals, and cash handling.
• Balance teller cash drawer daily and reconcile deposits/withdrawals.
• Assist in branch sales initiatives and meet or exceed sales/referral goals.
• Balance and replenish ATMs; audit vault and teller operations as needed.
• Follow opening/closing procedures and internal security policies.
• Collaborate with branch colleagues to deliver a cohesive customer experience.
