Job summary

Deerwood Bank in Baxter, MN seeks a part-time Teller I to handle teller duties, deposits, payments and customer service. This role requires accuracy, adherence to policy and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Hours are 30-35 per week with varying shifts Mon-Fri 7:15am-6:15pm and some Saturdays 8:15am-12:15pm; Saturdays paid at double time. Starting pay $17.75-$19.50 per hour depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service and work in a team environment.
• Prioritize and make on-the-spot decisions regarding customer transactions.
• In-depth knowledge of bank deposit products and policies.
• Basic knowledge of loan and investment center products.
• Operate office equipment and banking applications accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and staff with retail, operations and service support.
• Receive deposits and verify balances with proper ID and docs.
• Maintain currency, coins and balancing records.
• Handle security procedures and safety precautions.
• Cross-sell bank services following branch goals and policy.
• Open/close the bank using proper security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
