Deerwood Bank is seeking a part-time Teller I to join the Baxter, MN branch. The role emphasizes cash handling, balancing deposits, customer service, and promoting bank products while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Hours are 30–35 per week with varied shifts Mon-Fri and some Saturdays; Saturday shifts pay at double time. Starting pay ranges from $17.75 to $19.50 per hour, depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and staff with retail, operations and customer service support.
• Receive deposits and payments, verify balances and identify customers.
• Maintain currency and coin supply per bank policy and balance records.
• Perform various branch tasks: logs, logs, security procedures, and safe deposit access.
• Cross-sell and introduce new services to customers according to branch goals and regulatory guidance.
• Open and close the branch following proper security procedures.
