Job summary

CoVantage Credit Union is seeking a year-round part-time Teller to join the team at our Shawano location. This position will work 20 hours per week and offers a pay range of $16.00-$22.13 per hour based on experience.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication skills, punctuality, and basic math ability. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected; bilingual candidates are preferred. Weekend availability, including Saturdays, is required.

• Promote services to strengthen member relationships and financial value.

Job Duties

• Greet members as they enter the branch and provide members with professional, high-quality service including handling each transaction in a friendly and courteous manner to its entirely, or if needed, direct the member to the appropriate person for assistance
• Ensure all transactions are processed completely and accurately
• Accuratelybalance cash drawer on a daily basis
• Accurately and consistently comply with credit union standards, policies, and applicable state and federal regulations
• Promote services to strengthen each member's relationship with the credit union and seek ways to provide greater financial value

This individual will work a varied schedule including working Saturday mornings.

Qualifications

• Have obtained a high school diploma
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people on a daily basis
• Are punctual and maintain a neat, professional appearance
• Have intermediate mathematical skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows software programs
• Bilingual fluency preferred, but not required
