Job summary

CoVantage Credit Union in Shawano is seeking a year-round part-time Teller to join our team. This 20-hour-per-week role focuses on delivering friendly, high-quality member service and accurate transaction processing.

You will balance cash drawers, comply with policies and regulations, and promote financial services to deepen member relationships. A schedule includes Saturday mornings, with starting pay between $16.00 and $22.13 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet members as they enter the branch and provide high-quality service, handling each transaction in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Ensure all transactions are processed completely and accurately.
• Accurately balance cash drawer on a daily basis.
• Accurately and consistently comply with credit union standards, policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Promote services to strengthen each member's relationship with the credit union and seek ways to provide greater financial value.

Job Duties

• Greet members as they enter the branch and provide members with professional, high-quality service including handling each transaction in a friendly and courteous manner to its entirely, or if needed, direct the member to the appropriate person for assistance
• Ensure all transactions are processed completely and accurately
• Accuratelybalance cash drawer on a daily basis
• Accurately and consistently comply with credit union standards, policies, and applicable state and federal regulations
• Promote services to strengthen each member's relationship with the credit union and seek ways to provide greater financial value

This individual will work a varied schedule including working Saturday mornings.

Qualifications

• Have obtained a high school diploma
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people on a daily basis
• Are punctual and maintain a neat, professional appearance
• Have intermediate mathematical skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows software programs
• Bilingual fluency preferred, but not required
