Job summary

CoVantage Credit Union in Iron River, MI is seeking a part-time Teller to join our team. The role offers 30 hours per week with a pay range of $15.00–$22.13 per hour, starting based on related experience and qualifications.

The ideal candidate will greet members, provide high-quality service, balance cash drawers daily, and ensure accurate processing of transactions. Availability includes Saturday mornings as part of a varied schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of people daily.
• Punctual and maintain a neat, professional appearance.
• Intermediate mathematical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows software programs.
• Bilingual fluency preferred, but not required.

CoVantage invests in their team members! The pay for this role is $15.00-$22.13. Your starting pay rate will be based on your related experience and qualifications.

Job Duties

• Greet members as they enter the branch and provide members with professional, high-quality service including handling each transaction in a friendly and courteous manner to its entirely, or if needed, direct the member to the appropriate person for assistance
• Ensure all transactions are processed completely and accurately
• Accurately balance cash drawer on a daily basis
• Accurately and consistently comply with credit union standards, policies, and applicable state and federal regulations
• Promote services to strengthen each member's relationship with the credit union and seek ways to provide greater financial value

This individual will work a varied schedule including working Saturday mornings.

Qualifications

• Have obtained a high school diploma
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people on a daily basis
• Are punctual and maintain a neat, professional appearance
• Have intermediate mathematical skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows software programs
• Bilingual fluency preferred, but not required
