Position Overview:

The Teller contributes to the success of a Retail Banking Center by ensuring accurate and efficient transaction processing, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining operational discipline. The work schedule may include evenings and Saturdays, with temporary assignments at other locations based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities:
Customer Experience:
  • Introduce and refer customers to the platform during routine interactions
  • Provide exceptional service, resolve issues, handle customer requests, and complete necessary documentation
  • Complete Comerica's Teller Training Program
  • Follow policies, regulations, and security procedures
  • Use electronics to document transactions and reconcile at shift end
  • Maintain confidentiality and resolve customer complaints following guidelines
Marketing Activities:
  • Complete daily planning tasks
  • Act as a digital ambassador, guiding customers to digital solutions
  • Introduce products/services and follow up promptly
Operational Risk:
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Complete required compliance training
  • Adhere to risk assessment and compliance standards
  • Follow policies to control and mitigate losses
Partnership:
  • Enhance collaboration within the Banking Center
  • Identify opportunities to add value through partnerships
Qualifications:
  • 6 months retail or financial sales experience, 2 years military service, or 1 year of college
  • 1 year customer service experience
  • Experience with computers, data entry, or internet search
  • Preferred: Cash handling in retail/financial services, proficiency with computer systems
Work Details:

Category A - 100% in-office; Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:15pm, 1-2 Saturdays/month 8:30am-12:30pm; up to 28 hours/week. Scheduling within these hours.
