Job Title: Part-Time Cashier & Customer Service Associate at Cub Rochester East

Cub Rochester East on 15th Avenue is seeking a dedicated individual for a part-time cashier and customer service role. The cashier is responsible for front-end checkout procedures, maintaining positive customer relations, and ensuring efficient order processing. This role involves ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist customers and ensure high service levels and courtesy from all associates.
2. Perform product scanning and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
3. Handle all forms of tender and coupons properly.
4. Manage voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges accurately.
5. Address customer questions and requests.
6. Maintain front-end cleanliness and organization.

Job Requirements:

• Operate equipment such as scanners, registers, approval machines, coupon machines, intercoms, calculators, etc.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Basic skills in reading, writing, math, and memorization.
• Provide ongoing, courteous, and accurate customer service.
• Use good judgment, often with limited supervision.
• Follow verbal and demonstrated instructions; request supplies as needed.
• Work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground.
• Reaching, bending, turning, and repetitive motions.
