Longwood Collective, Inc. in Boston, MA seeks a Full-Time Center Float Teacher to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

You will float between classrooms, assist the Infant/Toddler Supervisors, and help create a warm, safe environment that supports children's development. The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, experience in child care, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work a flexible 8‑hour schedule from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Experience working with children in child care, daycare, or preschool settings.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, lift at least 35 lbs, participate in physical activities, and supervise children.

Responsibilities

Do you love working with all age groups and bringing joy to young learners? We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Center Float Teacher to join our warm and supportive team!
In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers , helping to create a positive, nurturing learning environment every step of the way.

What You’ll Do:

• Gain valuable hands‑on experience floating between infant and toddler classrooms
• Assist the Infant/Toddler Supervisors as needed
• Work an 8-hour schedule between 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM (must be available to open and close)
• Help create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Build positive, meaningful relationships with children, parents, and fellow educators

What You’ll Need:
