Job summary

LearnWell in Bethlehem, PA seeks a part-time teacher to support 7–12th grade students in a fast-paced behavioral health facility. The role involves delivering daily lessons, offering individualized help, and reporting progress while maintaining attendance records.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
• PA State teaching license.
• Comfortable working with students in grades 7-12.
• Strong organizational skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans for 7–12th grade students.
• Provide individualized assistance to students during sessions.
• Regularly communicate student progress to caregivers or supervisors.
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports; manage class sizes of 15–20.

For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Bethlehem,PA on a part-time basis for the school year. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support tochild and adolescentschool-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 15 to 20 school-age patients at any one time.

Position entails a 20-houra week commitment, Monday-Friday, 12:00-4:00pm. We offer a very generous package of paid time off including vacation time, sick time, federal holidays, and paid school breaks.
