Job summary

LearnWell in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a passionate teacher to work in a behavioral health facility, providing academic support to students in grades 7–12.

The role is part-time, 20 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 12:00-4:00pm). You will plan daily lessons, offer individualized support, monitor progress, and maintain attendance and session reports while contributing to a supportive treatment environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• PA State teaching license.
• Experience teaching grades 7–12.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans.

Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Bethlehem,PA on a part-time basis for the school year. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 15 to 20 school-age patients at any one time.

Position entails a 20-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 12:00-4:00pm.
