Job summary

LearnWell in Hoboken, NJ is seeking a passionate, creative teacher to support child and adolescent patients in a behavioral health facility. This part-time role runs 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 12:30pm, in a small classroom of 8 to 15 students.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering daily lessons, providing individualized support, tracking attendance and progress, and communicating student updates. Candidates should hold a B.A./B.S.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. from an accredited institution.
• New Jersey Standard teaching license.
• Comfortable working with K-12 students.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs.
• Reliable Transportation.

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans.

Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Hoboken, NJ on a part-time basis for the school year. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.

Position entails a 20-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-12:30pm.
