LearnWell in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a part-time teacher for the 2026‑27 school year to work in behavioral health facilities with adolescent students. You will plan daily lessons, provide individual support, and track progress in a small classroom setting. The role requires a B.A./B.S.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans for adolescent patients.
• Provide individualized assistance to students during treatment.
• Communicate regularly about student progress and attendance.
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports.
• Support small class sizes (8–15 students).
• Work Monday–Friday, 10:30 am–4:30 pm for 30 hours per week.

For more than 26 years, we have provided on‑site educational services in hospitals, helping these school‑age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN on a part‑time basis for the 2026‑27 school year. This unique position will involve working in fast‑paced behavioral health facilities, providing academic support to adolescent school‑age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school‑age patients at any one time.

Position entails a 30‑hour a week commitment, Monday‑Friday, 10:30 am‑4:30 pm.
