Job summary

LearnWell in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a passionate teacher to join our team for the 2026-27 school year. You will support adolescent patients in behavioral health facilities within a small classroom setting while they receive treatment.

You will plan daily lessons, provide individualized help, and regularly report on student progress to care teams. Indiana license and BA/BS required, with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
• Indiana State teaching license (required).
• Comfortable working with adolescent aged students.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans.
• Provide individualized assistance to students.
• Regularly communicate about student progress as needed.
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports.
• Work with class sizes ranging from 8 to 15 school-age patients.
• Commit to 30 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, 10:30am–4:30pm.

We are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN on a part-time basis for the 2026-27 school year. This unique position will involve working in fast-paced behavioral health facilities, providing academic support to adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.
