Job summary

Boston Beer Corporation seeks a part-time Server at Brewings & Eats to deliver the Dogfish experience with friendly, timely service. You will take orders, handle payments via IPAD/Square Up, verify IDs, and upsell beer and food.

This role includes nightly side work and tips from shifts, in a fast-paced guest-focused setting. Minimum qualifications include a HS diploma or GED and 1-2 years in a server role in a Tap Room or similar environment; certification as a Beer Server is a plus or

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast paced restaurant environment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years experience as a server or food/beer runner in a Tap Room desired.
• Certified Beer Server or willingness to complete certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely service that enhances guests' experience.
• Takes food/beverage orders and keys them into IPAD and sends to kitchen/bar.
• Collects order from kitchen/bar, places on trays, and serves to patrons.
• Computes bill and accepts payments using Square Up for restaurants POS system off IPAD mini.
• Requests proper identification from customers when legal drinking age is questioned.
• Removes empty or dirty glasses, plates, and bottles/cans and returns them to bar or kitchen.
• Performs daily/nightly side work duties assigned by direct manager.
• Suggestively sell beer/food items to customers.
