Job summary

The Boston Beer Company is hiring a Part Time Host for Brewings & Eats in Rehoboth Beach, DE. You will welcome guests, coordinate seating, answer questions about our location, history, and merchandise, and ensure the dining area presents well.

Duties include tracking reservations and private events, relaying guest feedback to management, suggesting merchandise, and keeping the host stand and nearby areas tidy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Up to one year related experience or training desired.
• Walking/standing for extended periods required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and coordinate seating throughout areas of the building.
• Answer customers' questions concerning the location, history, and merchandise.
• Address compliments or complaints and relay information to management.
• Track reservations or private events anticipated for the day.
• Communicate with staff and managers regarding business situations.
• Suggestively sell merchandise and keep host stand and surrounding areas tidy.
• Maintain the wait list.
