Job summary

Boston Beer Corporation in Delaware seeks a part-time Server at Brewings & Eats to deliver the Dogfish experience with friendly, attentive service and knowledge of our brand.

You will take orders, handle payments via Square, verify IDs, manage side duties, and suggest beer pairings. This role emphasizes hospitality, accuracy, and teamwork in a casual Tap Room setting with tips included.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast paced restaurant environment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years experience as a server or food/beer runner in a Tap Room desired.
• Certified Beer Server or willingness to complete certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely service to enhance guests’ experience.
• Take orders and enter them into IPAD, send to kitchen/bar.
• Compute bills and accept payments using Square POS.
• Verify proper identification from customers when legal drinking age is questioned.
• Perform daily/nightly side work duties as directed by manager.
• Suggest beer and food pairings to customers.
