WBAL NewsRadio 1090 and FM 101.5, in Baltimore, Maryland, has an immediate opening for a creative, energetic Part-Time Talk Show/Sports Producer. We are looking for a detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and reliable individual who is knowledgeable about news, current events, and sports. You should be able to manage deadlines effectively and be available to work flexible schedules required in the multimedia and broadcast industry. This is an opportunity to join one of the premier radio stations in the country, with 97 years of heritage in the Baltimore-Metro region. You will report to the Assistant Program Director. The salary range is $20.00 - $21.50 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain studio operations during your shift
• Ensure FCC compliance and proper transmitter operation
• Keep logs of aired commercial inventory
• Record, edit, and upload audio content as required
• Support sports partnerships as needed

Experience and Skills:

• Experience with Adobe Audition or similar audio editing programs preferred
• Familiarity with Wide Orbit Automation Software or similar radio inventory management software is a plus
• Audio editing ability or willingness to learn
• Understanding of on-air studio operations or eagerness to gain knowledge
• Excellent time management skills and focus during deadline-driven situations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including late evenings, overnights, and weekends
