WBAL NewsRadio 1090 and FM 101.5, in Baltimore, Maryland, has an immediate opening for a creative, energetic Part-Time Talk Show/Sports Producer. We seek a detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and reliable individual knowledgeable about news, current events, and sports. The candidate should manage deadlines effectively and be available for flexible schedules typical in the multimedia and broadcast industry. This is a great opportunity to join one of the country’s premier radio stations, with 97 years of heritage in the Baltimore-Metro region. The position reports to the Assistant Program Director. The salary range is $20.00 - $21.50 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintaining studio operations during shifts
• Ensuring FCC compliance and proper transmitter functioning
• Logging aired commercial inventory
• Recording, editing, and uploading audio content
• Supporting sports partnerships as needed

Experience and Skills:

• Experience with Adobe Audition or similar audio editing software preferred
• Familiarity with Wide Orbit Automation Software or similar radio inventory management tools is a plus
• Willingness to learn audio editing
• Understanding of or eagerness to learn about on-air studio operations
• Excellent time management skills, especially under deadlines
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, overnights, and weekends
