Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey is seeking an Aquatics Professional Staff to join our Customer Experience team as an office coordinator. This part-time role (25-29 hours) is poolside and focuses on welcoming families, registering students, and maintaining a warm, safe environment.

Hours are TBD with flexible scheduling, and we offer paid training including first aid certification, competitive pay, and opportunities for growth within a family-oriented community organization.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, warm and assertive personality with passion for helping families.
• Ability to follow structured safety procedures in a friendly way.
• Strong interpersonal skills for welcoming families and coordinating schedules.
• Willingness to multi-task in a fast-paced poolside environment.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome families and orient new students and parents.
• Set up the pool deck before each shift and register students for classes.
• Manage students’ flow in and out of the water between lessons.
• Celebrate milestones like move-ups and birthdays at the pool.
• Post photos/videos to social media in a fun, personal way.
• Assist parents with schedule inquiries and progress updates.
• Promote referrals for new enrollments.
• Support the aquatics team and assist with swimmer safety during lessons.
