YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City is looking for dedicated individuals to join our Aquatics Team as lifeguards or swim instructors. We offer training if you have no prior experience, and you will help create a safe, welcoming environment for swimmers of all ages.

Part-time positions require CPR/First Aid/AED certification and a minimum age of 16. You will supervise lessons, ensure safety, and contribute to YMCA program objectives while collaborating with a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Proficient swimming and safety skills.
• Ability to communicate with participants of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of all swimmers and respond to emergencies.
• Teach or assist swim lessons following program objectives.
• Maintain equipment and pool area in safe condition.
• Report attendance and progress as required.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in program activities.
