Job summary

YMCA of Greater Toledo is seeking a Part-Time Swim Instructor to teach life saving swimming skills to people of all ages. You'll guide infants to adults, build confidence in the water, and promote water safety in a friendly, supportive environment.

This onsite role offers a pay rate of $11.50 to $13.00 per hour and a flexible schedule designed for students and families. Join a team that values caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility while making a positive splash in the community.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in 4 different swim strokes and CPR-PR, First Aid, and AED safety.
• Certifications in Fundamentals of Teaching Swim Lessons and Youth & Adult Swim Lessons or Parent/Child & Preschool Swim Lessons.

Responsibilities

• Teach life saving swimming skills to all ages, from infants to adults.
• Inspire confidence and safety in the water while delivering engaging lessons.
• Maintain pool safety and supervision during instruction.
